Our mission is to build a unifying, high-quality Independence Day celebration that reflects the spirit, heritage, and resilience of the Stanwood–Camano community. Through responsible nonprofit governance, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to safety and inclusivity, we honor veterans and first responders, create opportunities for youth and families, and cultivate a tradition that strengthens civic pride and contributes to the cultural and economic vitality of our region.
Who We Are
•A Washington State 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to building Stanwood’s official July 4th celebration into a sustainable, regionally significant civic tradition.
•The governance and oversight body responsible for financial stewardship, compliance, partnerships, and long-term strategy behind Stanwood’s Independence Day events.
•A unifying force for community collaboration, bringing together the City of Stanwood, schools, civic organizations, veterans groups, youth programs, and local businesses.
•A professionally structured nonprofit, operating under IRS-aligned financial controls, a full Governance & Compliance Framework, and public safety coordination standards informed by ICS/FEMA principles.
•A catalyst for community pride and cultural identity, honoring veterans, empowering youth, and creating family-centered programming that reflects the values of the Stanwood–Camano region.
